So after spending hours researching for a good and cheap company that allows Airbnb and short let. I am pleased to announce that the cheapest is home protect
I had about 20 quotes in total wiht some even asking for £700…ridiculous!!!
Glad search is over. If you found this useful pls do give it a thumbs up and comment
With spring half term just 2 weeks away, am sure parents are already getting worried about how to keep their entertained or could just be worried about childcare. Did you know there are holiday clubs where kids can go ALL DAY, with flexibility of short days. Holiday clubs run every holiday and half terms and are provided by a range of organisations; schools, churches, charity organisation, sport centers, colleges etc Activities can be sport, performing arts, education based or a mixed of different things.
To find one near you just Google “holiday club in… City name…” or better still use post code to filter the nearest to you…. and lots of options will come up.
Just research and read reviews to pick one. Typically available from ages 5 but some offer it for ages 3 years. They are affordable with prices range from £6 per day. I have seen some that are £40/day though.
Please note that the specifics of these are for England. However similar activities may be available in other countries too. Feel free to share in comment section.
So when asked is this your first baby, I answer no.. its my second.
However looking at my parenting journey from conception right until now, I do feel like a first time mum.
The whole experience feels new. Could it be that I have forgotten so quick what it felt like to be a mum or is it just that kids are different… Who knows
All I know is everything is different, and difference is what makes the world colourful. I guess its also what makes parenting so much more interesting.
So what is different? you ask!
Lets start with having excessive nausea and vomiting as compared to my first where I only vomited twice in 9months. Or is it the labour which for some reasons felt more painful than my first even though I “already knew what to expect” or should we talk about why one likes to talk and the other likes to play with you.. Or should I mention how one skincare products I can bet works now suddenly no longer works but another one works for this new baby or is it the fact that one hated bottle but the other doesn’t mind which means is used to get food inside his stomach as long as he is full.. The list is endless. So yes it’s my second baby but it my first time experience with this new/second baby.
Differences are what makes this world beautiful
While reflecting on this. I realised one thing. Every child is different, every child is unique and as parents we ought to know each child and meet them at the point of their individual needs. Understand each child. Dont compare but appreciate the difference they have and help them to achieve and reach their potential, while still maintaining the standards, memories and values you have set for your family.
